Te adentrarás al Parque Nacional Lagunas de Chacahua, donde observarás una gran cantidad de aves nativas y migratorias, como la espátula rosada y el pelicano blanco americano. Al mismo tiempo conoce el mangle rojo donde crustáceos como la tichinda habitan, recorre los túneles formados por esta bella especie y disfruta de los atardeceres majestuosos acompañados de la cultura afromestiza viva en las tradiciones de su gente disfrutando de sus fiestas, música, leyendas, danzas y prueba la fusión gastronómica característica de Chacahua.
Actividades:
Recorridos por Senderos Acuáticos por el complejo lagunar Chacahua-Pastoría. Recorridos por las islas falsas o pantanosas llamadas laberintos formados por el majestuoso manglar. Visita al Centro de Investigación de Vida Silvestre (Cocodrilario). Educación Ambiental.

Cómo Llegar:
Transporte público – Tomar un transporte colectivo (Suburban) con dirección a Pinotepa Nacional y bajarse en el reten delante de Rio Grande de ahí toman un taxi colectivo a la Comunidad de Zapotalito y llegar al embarcadero Principal. Transporte privado, saliendo de Puerto Escondido o Huatulco hay que tomar la carretera hacia Pinotepa Nacional- Puerto Escondido, pasando la comunidad de Río Grande hay un reten y 2 sitios de taxis a mano izquierda que te lleva a la comunidad de Zapotalito, ya en la comunidad (en la curva justo al observar la laguna a mano izquierda) preguntar por el Embarcadero Principal.

Our tour of the mangroves was fabulous— well organized and with a great guide! We were 10 people (and 3 small dogs!), and the boat, which had 10 seats, cost 3500 MXN whether you filled it up or not. For the time the beautiful and informative tour took, that would have been a great price for any size group. We took the bioluminescent waters, tour, in the evening, for another 2000 mxn, with the same guide. It was magical, and you had the option of getting out and swimming in the sparkling water, which some of our group did,—with their life jackets on. Both tours were very unhurried, and the guide was open to showing us whatever we wanted to see om the area, for the same price. Between the mangrove and the bioluminescent waters tours, we ate at a popular comedor on la Bahía, and walked on the beach by the rock structure El Arco. I hadn’t been to the area for over 20 years, but the parts we saw were still not gentrified, and the locals were all very friendly. Sadly, the Crocodile refuge center had closed down since we last went, due to lack of funds. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR— about an hour’s drive from Puerto Escondido. Between the two tours, we took about 8 or 9 hours— an amazing day we plan to repeat!

The perfect journey to Chacahua, amazing experience through the mangroves, bird watching and we even saw a croc. A must if your heading to Chacahua!

Had a fabulous trip with my family to the lagunas. We spent a full day trip from 12 noon until 8pm visiting the laguna. We had a great tour and felt very safe and well informed. I highly recommend this company

Great trip- went to a nice restaurant on their tour and then saw the bioluminescense at the end too
