Huaxtla Cascadas is one of the most beautiful natural getaways near Guadalajara. The hike to the waterfalls is scenic and adventurous, offering stunning views of the canyon, lush vegetation, and several spots to stop and enjoy the scenery. The crystal-clear water is incredibly refreshing, making it the perfect place to cool off after the hike. Amazing The trail is moderately challenging, so wearing sturdy shoes and bringing plenty of water is recommended. The area is well maintained, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it an excellent destination for nature lovers, hikers, and anyone looking to disconnect from the city. If you visit during or just after the rainy season, the waterfalls are especially impressive, but be careful, as the trails can become slippery. Overall, Huaxtla Cascadas offers a memorable outdoor experience with breathtaking scenery and is definitely worth the trip. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for adventure and natural beauty in Jalisco.

A 1-km hike from the car to the most refreshing waterfall and pool. The second waterfall isn't much further and is worth the trip. $120 pesos for teens and adults. $200 for camping. Clean restrooms at the entrance and a well-stocked restaurant. Cold beer was $35. Guacamole was $80. The road to get there is newly paved and in great condition.

One of the best nearby Guadalajara. About an hour away from the city, you get to see (and cliff jump) many waterfalls, the highest being 24 meters high. Great scenery, nice hike (mostly moderate) many boulders and be careful with the red ones as they are slippery. Water is very refreshing and relatively clean. In one part you can even drink the water.

So basically at the entry you have the free parking but the entrance cost 50 pesos. It is a walk of 30-45 to reach to the waterfall and it's beautiful. There are small and big 7 waterfalls on the way. 2 of them are nice and you can swim. They are dip and has places to jump from different height. It's a very good hike and swim combination. You need to carry sufficient about of water and electrolytes as there is no store or any thing nears to the waterfall. Pets are allowed to go.

Really well managed. Entry price cost $50 pesos per person. That includes entry and parking. They also have bathrooms, life jacket rentals, and good for sale. The waterfalls are really nice. Swimming is great.
