The Market Ready Model contributes to reactivating the future of the sector through the Virtual Meeting of Community Tourism in Latin America.
The Virtual Meeting of Community Tourism is a space for union to face together the uncertainty of the reactivation of the “new normal”. It is an innovative model to do and grow in community. It is a space to share, to connect, to find inspiration in the experiences of others and to co-design solutions to keep the value chain of community tourism together.
In this effort to connect and unite the value chain, the Market Ready Model provides certainty for +200 community tourism companies in Latin America to connect with key commercial allies to push the reactivation to be safe, agile and put at the center of the proposal of value of "the new normality of tourism", the Latin American biocultural heritage.
At the same time, we will have the possibility to “photograph” the reality of community-based companies in Latin America in the context of COVID to understand their Market Ready profiles and provide tools for a reactivation based on real business needs. The Market Ready profiles of the Business, Commercial, Operational and Sustainability areas will be diagnosed with the Market Ready Self-Assessment.
This meeting takes place thanks to a great effort by many companies and organizations convinced that the only way to approach this moment is by cooperating. Thanks to those who coordinate this Encounter, especially the Komú, Travindy, Travolution, La Mano del Mono and World Indigenous Tourism Association teams.
